So I went to feed my oscar, leptobarbus hoevenii, ornate bichir and others some tilapia, and accidentally fed them chicken breast instead -__-

My oscar and barb ate MUCH more than they should have and I'm worried they might have some problems dropping a deuce... Should I be worried?

this goes with your sig very well. - i wouldn't worry about it, i believe a few people with bichirs on here feed em chicken breast, its mammal fat thats bad for their digestion

No!

no thats not bad either in small amounts. large? yes. small? no, no problems.

ur fish will be fine

As long as you don't feed them that all the time, a bit of mammalian fat won't do much damage.

chickens aren't mammals though, and their breasts are lean. Am I missing something here?

PS ... I wouldn't feed chicken to oscars so much as I'm asking for my catfish if that makes a difference.
