Ah yes.. of course I should know that! I have UV steriliser on my filter.. silly boy lol.
I meant a blue/florecent light to work along side my white LEDs to bring out the colours.

The Actinic blue light. Some reefs use a 50/50 actinic. It is around 440 nm. It will grow algae. It is used to stimulate vitamin D production medically. It is also a great light to wake up too. It is stimulating. I use two 50/50 actinic tubes on my algae growing 75g. They do bring out the color.

The top tank one 6500k florescent.
The lower tank, 2 50/50 coral sun, reef lights
And one 6500k.
The purple is from the algae scrubber.
