All fish are stressed out in our tanks/ponds... no matter what the size (just like we get stressed out in our own house's). Its not their chioce to be in our tanks. Some do better than others... So for this reason, its my viewing choice on who stays and why. In the Datnoid Cases... must be Stable or will be packing his things :D.

I am sure they do as you probly have more expertise with fish than I do;).

I actually own a extremely stable IT Dat @ about 4" (have had him for a few months... maybe 8??) and he is in a all black tank (walls & bottom were painted black) with lots of decor. Bright light and lots of tankmates. He sometimes greets us at the tank then bolts away Lol. He seems to like cruising and sometimes he hides but not much.
I sure hope he stays this way forever:headbang2

is this 4 inch IT in with larger tigers or other fish?

i have seen it many times in the past i have had all black tigers and thought the same way as you sell them but when i hooked them out of the tank they turned stable and even stayed stable in the shop i took them back to

He is with a mix of fish. 2 NGTs of similar size (newly acuired... just over a month), Razorback Musk, angel fish, 5 juvi clown loaches...

IT was one of the first 3 pcs added to the tank. Started with Beta fish, turtle and IT in bare bottom tank with black walls/floor. He was unstable the first night if I remember correct, then we added as time went on. Hes still looking good :D

He has also taken about 3 PraziPro baths from the different times we added fish and he was still Stable... eating and occasionally cruising (he usually picks a spot in the tank and glides). Seems like his favorite spot is near the outlet of the RenaX3... a little drift for his fins Lol
