Acclimating from one tank to another?

Live rock is for saltwater aquariums when it is live so no need to look for that.

Check if you have a local landscaping supply place near you or a place that sells rock/stone in bulk as the prices will be cheap.

I agree with this, I'd go to my local land scape company, they would weigh my truck when entering, I'd fill it with the type rock I wanted, it'd be weighed on the way out, they normally charged by the ton.
And live rock, and live sand if added, are sold for marine tanks only, and won't work in fresh water systems. The live saltwater organisms will quickly die fouling the water.

Any hints to what I should ask for when I go somewhere? Like what type of rocks and do they have big ones?
Edit: lol

Lava rock if you're concerned about using it as a bio filter medium, and just about any landscaping stones should be workable for a fish tank, mostly based on your preferred aesthetics. Be honest with them as to why you're there, ask to look around, and if in doubt, show us pics for feedback.

You can also check out This video for how the rocks look in the 'wild' and how the fish use them for some ideas.

I've not kept this species as I'm mostly Malawi Mbuna and Tanganyika cichlids but cave like crevices and jumbled rock piles have always worked for me. Just be sure any rocks are piled up securely so they can NOT be toppled over and place the bottom rocks directly on the glass because as the fish excavates the sand, he may knock over the rock pile trapping or injuring him.

Hi I need another bit of advice just to be sure I will do the right procedure when the time comes. So I tested my water parameters and there is a difference in ph. Current tank fish is in is at 7.8 ph new tank is at 8.2. Will I need to acclimate him? And if so how would I go about doing this safely and no stress to the fish? Thanks for any info!

Edit: heres a photo of the test not sure if its readable this way but check see what u think if Im reading wrong?
