Acclimating my new giraffe catfish?

Mine used to hide a lot during the day when he was that size and had his tunnel. Once he outgrew it, it just started hanging out on the side. Now he eats when everyone else does, and is super active at night too.

just let him get used to hius new tank he will be himself again dont worry to much about it.

Looks like he's been coming out at night and feeding on pellets. I'm gonna throw in some bloodworms tonight. I'd love to get him on market shrimp.

i prefer pellets and worms (night crawlers)for the giraffe's, rather than shrimp/fillets. even for my big guy it just seems like it has an easier time eating those.

Giraffe comes out a little after dusk now. He mainly comes out to feed. He is eating pellets and blood worms regularly now. This is promising! Now I gotta grow him out... 24" here he comes!

My pair eat like friggin pigs. They won't eat shrimp or fish or worms, just pellets. And they're always out and about despite lots of hiding places in the tank.
