Acclimating Rays from a long flight?

Thats silly. The PH shock or Temp could kill them.

Take 30 mins to a hour to slowly acclimatise them with added aeration, before slowly allowing them to swim out of the bag into the tank.

I drip everything. I take out most of the water so that the water level is at the top of the fish, add a air line or 2 and use a python to drip (adjust the flow faster after 5 min). Then once my 5gl bucket is full (or close too)... I have a new happy fish (never lost anyone except a heavily sedated Tat that came in on its side)
