I would take some tank water and an airstone just in case

If they are taking a long trip i hope the sender purged for 72 hrs

I forgot to include the 2 hr drop off before the flight and now I found out due to road construction there isn't immediate access to customs from the cargo drop off and now there is an extra 1 hr drive time to go back and forth to cutoms. We are looking at over 18 hrs total time now.

hey trevor, when i picked up Mikes ST in Calgary airport , i removed him from transport bag and water and put him into fresh water with prime into a rubbermaid, i know the ST wasnt in transport for near the time your rays will be but, i feel the same as you with wanting to get them outta the crappy water and into fresh water, for the remainder of the transport, PS what rays did you pick up and from where ?

I agree with allot of comments here about just keeping it in the bag but also being ready for the worse. Most of all it really depends on the prep work of the shipper. If they set everything up right you should be just fine. My worry with dumping the bag out into a much larger open air container is you might chill the water quickly vs leaving it wrapped up all nice and snug. Especially if your sitting for a while and the water you brought is allot colder by the time your finally ready.

I have a 100 watt heater I can throw in the container with the water I am bringing. I don't use it often as the trips are short but the inverter can handle the heater and bubbler.

Leave them in the bag until you get them home. Do not open the bag, add water conditioner, or anything else - unless upon inspection you find that a bag is leaking. Hope for the best, but always plan for the worst.

I think you should do everything these guys have said! But if you really want to be safe there is only one guy to get ahold of, Superman!!! No customs, No 12+ hr shipping, No 2+ hr drive home. He picks it up and drops it off. Thats the way i would go!!! or just follow what these guys are saying, Its totally up to you.

Well of course nothing is going right! Storm here today with 100 plus accidents and to top it off the plane is delayed 1 hour. I am still waiting...
