If you do the 8' honestly depending on what you house him with and with a good turn over rate you'd be fine.

Acclimation procedure for rtc?

the drip method works good too...what i started to do is similar to the drip method and i think others have mention it already but i would let them sit in the tnak for at least 10-15 min then open the bag up and let water get through into the bag and out of the bag for another 10-15 min then let'em out...so far all my fishes are in good health...if u wanna see them go to my albums...
I'm getting my replacement fish later today. My fingers are crossed. So what would u say is the minimum turnover? I was planning on about 5x

Just got the little guy in my tank. He's about 4" and he's a spotted rtc. I'll post some pics later
how long until he starts eating? he kinda ate one pellet and one bloodworm but i think he might have spit them back out
TWhat do you have him housed with? 5x might be fine. I didn't feed my rtcs the first 3days because day one they would not eat then a member suggested I starve them for 3-5 days. I did 3 and he acted like he didn't eat for a week!
