I would say that that would be a hybrid acei, only because Acei's dont have vertical bars running down their sides. Ive been breeding aceis for 2 years now and the one pictured does resemble an acei but the bars are from something else.

As beautiful as the fish is, I would have to agree, not a full Acei. Maybe the heading of the thread "acei" was a question. BradMC seems to be a man of few words. But then again, with a great lookin' tank and a great picture....why open your mouth?

That is a great acei. Please don't listen to those saying bars mean it isn't pure. In fact I haven't even seen a male that wont show baring at some point or another. Just look here to see the only two pictures posted of males have bars...

(All I am saying guys is stop crying hybrid, I swear you see a good fish in this section, you scroll down and no matter if it is even wild caught from a very good source someone seems to cry hybrid.)
