It is a Maiden reference!
I was trying to make a reference to the album using the short name of acestrorhynchus!D.
Stugs, you easily have the nicest Ace pack on MFK imo. I can't wait to see your monsters at a foot or more!
Thanks Chicx, they are nice fishes! I like aces and I think that many people underestimate this torpedo guys. I don't know if they will reach a foot in captivity. I never saw any red tail (in aquarium) larger than 10 inches, did you see? My biggest problem to keep aces is my red atabapo pike, I didn't make my aces and my red tail payara eat dead things yet (this is why I have another tank to quarantine and pretreat my feeders) and feed with feeders with a crenicichla in tank is absolutely insane. My pike eats 10 feeders before my sabbertooth know that it is feeding time. Pikes are much more smarter and eat alot!!!! So to keep all my fishes well feeded (including my slow-mo hujeta) i'm spending much more money than I want...
I'm expecting my 4 yellows and some boullengerellas next week...i hope that this time they reach my hands!

Holy crap stugs, im with rob those are the nicest red tails ive ever seen on here! Or anywhere else for that matter lol good job on those, thatll be awesome to add some yellowtails pumped to see how that turns out

Yeah I thought it was a Maiden thread as well. Great looking fish !!! I really like how a handful of SA carachins develop the same kind of coloring as they mature. How big do these max out at ??
