acitanic bulbs for plants

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
it has such a washed out yellow look tho. i want good growth and great display lighting also. i guess i want my cake and to eat it too:naughty:

hmm i wonder why im geting a yellow tint. ill have to look more into this i wonder if its because its not a pink plant grow bulb, its just a coralife 6700k sun light bulb

some times its just a cheap bulb. i bought a cool white bulb once, it was yellow. very dissapointed cool is blueish, warm is yellowish red in my book.

maybe just use 10,000k bulbs

I would say keep the atinics, I have a planted aquarium and during the day i turn on the 6700K for good growth and the atinics and 10000k for the evening. I think it makes the tank look a little more appealing having a blue tint rather than a yellow/green one. Also the colors of your fish seem to stand out when the atinics are on.
