I'm looking to get one of these guys, but i want to know their requirements prior to that.

How long is yours? Mine looks about the same size as yours. Mine is about eyeballing 6-7" with tail. Glad to see he is doing good!

the tile is 9 inches long and spread out hes easily longer than it with tail.

right now hes in a 20 gallon long, but he will be moved to a 40 breeder and then a 125.
