Have you done any post processing? Sometimes the shots out of a DSLR are a bit soft making them appear to be out of focus.

These look like good shots, but I would do some sharpening and highlight/midtone/shadow adjustments.

All my pics come straight from the cam-No photoshop yet-But will be buying soon...

If you don't want to drop the cash on photoshop, paintshop pro is a good inexpensive program. You can download a 30 day trial too.
