Acrylic 500 gallon install

One thought is to use the Lifegard canisters that came with the tank. Another is to build a sump system, utilizing filter bags and bioballs with more bio material in the sump
I will definitely be using UV light. Probably 40 watts to start.
 
I hope your going to be putting a casing with insulation around that thing... Will make heating a b1tch if you don't. I would also do it to keep it protected in case of any vandalism.

The last thing will be to enclose and insulate it, once it's all up and running. I have all summer to get that part done.

I hope to get the stand and base built this weekend. Once that's done I will cut the wall open and frame it out.
