I bought it like that ;) The guy told me he left it out in the weather 1 year ;) And the Seams opened up.. he went to fill it... Seen the crack and the waterfall from the split bottom seams and decided it was time to let it go... 100.00 to me :D I called a 4am!! As I was not going to wait for this to be gone by 6-9am :D

Fantastic Job! Quick Question for you or anyone else who may know. I'm restoring a 1"thick acrylic tank, and I'm not sure of what type of sander to use. It seems as though the Orbital Sander is most recommended but does anyone know what speed I should get. I've found the Bosch 3727 rated at 12,000 OPM (orbits per minute).
However, it gets confusing when I see the makita 9227cx3 7" rated at 3000OPM but with higher amps (10) to the 3.3 for the Bosch. Anyway, can someone shed some light on this.

Joey is unfortunately no longer in the hobby but to answer your question. You want to go with the lowest rpms for can find. The faster you sander spins the higher chance you have at burning the acrylic.
