Hello. I'm new to posting here but have been following for 10 years since i started fish keeping. I'm finally upgrading my existing standard 180 gallon with a drilled 180g acrylic. I plan to restore the inside and buff out the scratches to make it like new. I have been doing research and i think im set on wet sanding then using Novus 1-3. My question is... is Novus safe to use? Even after i clean the tank very well can it affect the fish and get into the water? If so, what compound would you recommend i use to remove the haze after wet sanding? Thanks!

Use the Novus. I'll i do is wipe the tank down with water and cotton cloths when I'm done. I never had a problem throwing fish back in

Depending on the condition, wet sanding might not even be necessary. And yes, warm water and a microfiber towel was all I used after steps 1-3. Fish were in it a few hours later.
