I’m no acrylic expert so wait till you hear from someone who is.
That said, if it were mine I’m thinking try to wick some Weldon into the places that have separated.

Methylene chloride dissolves and fusion welds acrylic plastic, but I don't know where you can find it nowadays. I live in California and I can't seem to buy it here.

I'm a glass-tank-only guy so I'm not sure what professional products might be available in aquarium store, but this is the traditional method for making acrylic aquariums, and there are many demonstrations on YouTube.

Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Walmart all have it. Get someone from outside CA to buy it and send it to you.

Mine has looked like that in a couple spots for almost 8 years. I don’t know the lifespan on acrylic tanks but I think I’ll be replacing it within a year or so

I have one that is 10 years old and it has been in use for the whole time. Still looks fairly new.

Should last a life time.......

I would strongly suggest giving the tank to me...

In all seriousness though what you are seeing could last a lifetime on the tank. What you want to look for is if it’s increasing in size. If there has been no change to the tank don’t worry. I would add a bit of weldon 3 or 4 using a 1ml syringe with a 25 guage needle to get rid of the white appearance if this was my personal tank as it would bug me. If this recently developed I would recommend doing what Wednesday always suggests and tip and pour weldon 40 along the seams.
