Acrylic or Glass 180 Gallon up?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't know but all my tanks besides my spare 6.5 gallon are glass. I would rather have acrilic but it is way too expensive! It is like twice the price:jaw:!!

I have a 210 glass that I bought used on CL. I would like to try acrylic though for my next big tank although I'm not a fan of how easily it scratches.

+1 agreeeed....

I have a 65 gallon that is 3x1.5x2 and I have had it for a little over 2 yrs and I bought it used so it is probibly at least 5 yrs old... I know it is only 65 gallon but it is 2 ft tall and hight is a majior reason of tanks breaking...

I've had both. I don't mind either and would keep both. The real difference maker as of late is all about the weight.

Just out of curiosity I was wondering if it's a bad idea to keep a glass banger with teeth in acrylic... Wouldn't it get scratched up really bad.
