does acrylic leak as bad as glass? If it does leak how do you fix the leak, since you cant use silicone. Reason i ask is i have a chance to pick up a 275

glass for life!!!!! down with acrilic.............acrilic sucks!!!

Totally depends on the size/use of the tank. I cant vote on this poll.

That large id go with acrylic its lighter.

The only time weight is a factor is when you're moving the tank.
Other than that it shouldnt be considered.

I have a 400g Acrylic and I'll never buy another tank made of acrylic again. If you look down the edge of the tank, you can see it "Bow" out just a little bit, But scary none the less. I tell my friends Not to tap on the Tank!

My only experience with acrylic is a used 55g I bought. It's bowed and cloudy and I hate it. Promptly replaced it with a glass tank. I plan on avoiding acrylic where possible in the future.

I'll always use glass.
