acrylic tank leak?

ask title states... have anyone every had an acrylic tank leak or break?? like glass tank i had one leaked and one broke ( bottom glass gave).. so would like to know anyone have bad experience with acrylic tank with these problems???

Think there is a Chemical weld you use but you need to empty the tank be one of the diy king videos on youtube shows how

any tank regardless of acrylic or glass can leak but there are less
occasions where a acrylic tank busted completely like a glass one.
not to mention its easier to repair a leak on a acrylic tank.

weld-on makes products to repair/ weld acrylic. I have not herd a post ever saying my acrylic tank sprung a leak.

I use weld-on at work for awards i make for the company. but never delt with there fillers.

not sure this help, but go to laserbits.com, they have a weld-on needle applicator, a syringe to aply ware needed.

I had the back corner seam separate on an 8 month old acrylic tank. I was able to repair it with weldon and acrylic caulking.
