acrylic tanks

Sorry guys but I'm asking about their acrylic tanks NOT glass tanks! I also didn't ask about shipping costs, or which company sells the better product. I only care about the quality of the acrylic tanks sold at glasscages. How good vs. bad are they? Who has them or has a friend that has one? What do you think of it, pros/cons?

ill_eagle you didn't say if it was a glass or acrylic tank or who you got it from.

Sorry, I am a fan of glass and the only acrylic I have ever owned was about a 30g I got for free.

If you want a standard sized tank (< 240 gallons), buy a glass tank. It's cost effective and at that size, you don't quite need 10 people to move the thing.

For large, custom tanks, acrylic is the only way to fly. Thick panels of float glass have a noticeably green tint. They also weigh a ton (literally), cost a lot, and can break if not built perfectly. Acrylic scratches easily, but glass is just too much to deal with when you get into really big tanks.
