A couple of things to consider, glass heavy, but less scratching, I have a 125g I bought in 1978 used and moved over 10 times from ohio, florida, alaska, west virginia, and now delaware, still set up with fish and water in it, never leaked and have not resealed, original all. Acrylic is light but as stated once in place who cares how heavy, as far as scratches, very easy, I would ask what type of fish and decor. If sand, get ready to invest in the scratch removal equipment, and yes they do make it, sand paper and buffing paper and chemicals. Rocks, be careful and if bare bottom then ok. Budget is another issue and heat, acrylic holds heat better, but do you need that, depends on location. Sometime it comes down to view preference and $$. Good luck and choose which you like best.
