action figures in your tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i had a scuba steve guy in my tank for a while. I tied him down to another piece of decoration with some clear fishing line. Unless u were right up next to the tank it looked like he was just floating there. Had him in there until I did a water change once and took him out. Then accidently stepped on him, hurt like hell, and broke him in half. DAM U SCUBA STEVE!

coat them with clear acrylic..
:jaw: don't think this is safe but could be wrong

My old roommate was drinking one night and decided to use an old Porn Mag centerfold as his Background on his mini reef tank. it was pretty funny, then I came home one night and I have no clue where he found this, but in the center of his tank he had a Porn star Action figure sitting on a ceramic sea horse that he use to have in his fresh water tank. I really think the guy need a girlfriend BAD!!!

dont most action figures have METAL joints? last time I checked, doesnt metal corrode when moist? isnt FeO2 bad for the "respiratory" function of fishies?

just something to think about!

are there any types of figures you can add that are safe. lego's maybe.

I'm sure if you used some sort of aquarium safe sealant/silicone on the joints, they would be ok, I'm just not keen on trying to give my fish tetanus!

the thing is I want to make a theme for my next tank. I was thinking something along the lines of, army men with a little battlefield or something.
