Bullheads, Channel cats, Sun Cats, Iridescent sharks (Are these considered true cats?) Pictus cats are probably too small.

hope you have a bigger tank that sterlet will need a BIG tank or pond but pictus or limas can be pretty active or some just sit and hover but i've seen some that just swim around that all day long

my bullhead never moves until feeding time. My columbian shark never stops swimming especially in groups. My limas are non stop swimmers as well. My tsn x rtc swims when I am in the room and the rest of the time he's lazy lol.

I have went through my pictus and they are hit and miss. My spotted pictus as babies were out all the time, with age they were barely out. My fourlines as they were sold but actually are white and a spotted pim have always been hiders and I would see them come out and my mouth would drop open at their growth, because I wouldnt see them much LOL The light comes on and they freak out, gravel flies and you just see a streak from them swimming for cover.

Feeding time with the light on they often sneak out for some. You see these huge whiskers come out of the log and a streak to the food and back to the log.

My bullhead.... I am still not sure. As a baby when I got him, he was so tiny you could barely see him, he hid all the time. Now that he is 3" he is out a lot in the light cruising around. He never stops moving and hides in leaves in the tank. As he gets bigger though I am not sure if he will just hide more like the rest

I just gave up and did the moonlight thing so I can see my fish. Lights on people think I have a tetra tank LOL and can not believe what is hiding on the bottom. My common pleco comes out more then anything. My vampire pleco is very skidish and I barely see him.

wat bout arius cats? there constantly cruising hence the name shark catfish. arius graeffi (scuse the splln)
