this is why although I am a vegetarian and i believe in animal rights, I distance myself from groupls like ELF, ALF and PETA. They give the rest of us a bad name, and what they do prevents us from being treated like adults and debating intelligently. Above all else, I am a scientist.

Some of the stunts that these animal rights people pull never cease to amaze me. You think that one of them would have thought that they are farming them to relieve the stress on the wild population. I wont support any of those groups either. As far as I'm concerned they are just a bunch of domestic terrorist organizations. Penn and Teller had a good show about PETA and these types of situations.
