I think I've only seen one of his movies,One Hour Photo,but I loved Mork and Mindy when I was a kid.

I never cared for his stand-up nor Mork and Mindy, but I really liked him as a drama actor. "The World According to Garp" and "Awakening" are 2 of my favorite RW movies

"What dreams may come" was a good movie of his. Somewhat ironic that it is about suicide too

I think it was to end the pain he was in . From what I have heard in the last few years he has had a couple of strokes.
