actually bred polypterus?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Not sure on the male. There were three in the tank. The femal was the smallest by far, maybe 10" and quite thin. I had had them all for at least 3 years by this point.
The water params were:
pH 7.2
GH 0
Temp 78-80
At this point I think I was doing weekly 50% water changes. The tanks was heavily planted and had a ton of driftwood in it.
Feeding was mostly beefheart.

I have had my poly endlis lay eggs once last may.I did not realized there eggs would be so small.I had 12 hatch out which ended up eating each other until i had just two. They shortly died there after.

The next time(hopefully this may) i will be feeding live cultures and black worms.I will also be keeping the baby's in the tank in breeder boxes filled with plants.

I am adding a group of five to my gang today, with a few more males. As of now i have 1 male with 18 females.
