Clown loaches have defensive spikes in their eyes which is why your aro doesn't attempt to eat them. It may try to eat your FH.

I am also considering adding an FH to my 375g community tank of a 14" silver aro and a pair of 6" motoro rays.

Are FH females less aggressive than males?

They can be as long as they are not in breeding mode. But it also depends on the individual fish.
