Here are two pictures of the black aro and jardini i picked up earlier today from a nice guy off the forum. Hopefully ill get some better pics with time.

Always wanted to add more fish like a black since i had to give away my other large silver that became to aggressive and since my 9 year old oscar died.
They all seem to be getting along well so far, going to try to keep them feed and hope they get along till i upgrade to a larger tank. Also a 16" hybrid catfish (red tail/ shovel) on the bottom of the tank.

very nice. i hope it works out.

black seems fine, but i would take out that jar before it causes too many problems

how is the jar doing with the other fish
is he aggressive or is he unto himself

They guy i bought it from had about 5 aros of similar size in a shorter but wider tank. Along with a pike and two stingrays for some time so the fish to seem to be pretty good in a group. So far the jar hangs out with all of them not doing much but swiming back and forth.

that sounds promising
it would be a great comm
one more to the jar comm success i guess

What are the sizes of the three aros? Please keep us updated.

My silver is about 28", the black and jar are about 16", black is a little longer. Both the smaller aros are still skittish. The silver is a lil skiddish but used to peopel walking around daily. The two smaller aros will have to get used to alot of activity on both sides of the tank. They tend to swim to the coner and hang out when they feel discomforted. Then swim all around and in the current together when im watching from afar.
