fish like toys too. my midas has a plastic easter egg he likes to play with.

Are they playing mossoccer? Put in some goals!

my moss ball died after a month, but my fish loved it! The bichirs would sleep on it, the oscars would knock it around, and the jurupari tried to bury it

errr...how does one kill a moss ball? lack of light?

i don't know. It turned brown after a month and pieces started coming off.

How much lighting did it get? I want mine to live!!!

Anybody know what the min. required light is for a moss ball?

it got 8 hours of lighting during the day (next to a window) and another 2 at night when I kept the tank light on. Just a regular 48" fluorescent light. My amazon sword, anubias, and java fern were all fine, so i have no idea

IF you are of age or know someone 21 go get the Guinness can and cut it open. Inside is a Ping pond sized plastic ball Make sure to wash it out... If u want it to sink drill a hole inside it... I have 2 half filled with air so my fish can sink them. These balls are harder then pingpong balls.

E i hope they dont need alot of light... this idea sound really cool. Make some goals for them. or a video!

How many hours u running the lights, how many K and watts and how deep is the tank?
