Sorry I'll try to take one and post it up tonight. How about a full-tank-shot ?
The bigger ones while only 2 inches larger in length are a lot thicker and I personally didn't trust their mouths around my smaller Tapajos. It's why I chose to keep them separate. When I asked Jeff he had told me he kept all the sizes of pikes together but I was still hesitant about reintroducing them. So unfortunately yes I felt and still do feel that the bigger pikes would take every opportunity to try and eat my smaller guy.How big would you say they are compared to the smaller ones you recieved?
I ask because one of the 4 that Jeff sent me has a deformity in the gill and he agreed to send me one of the larger sized ones at a discount. Now that I see yours and read your comments, maybe thats a bad idea.
He's out of the smaller ones and I'm really trying to get a pair. Since 1 is deformed, I essentially only have 3 of them to work with which really goes against my chances.
If I get the larger sized ones like you just picked up, do you feel that their size advantage puts my existing ones at too much risk? In other words, would your smaller one get killed by your new ones in your opinion?
Any help is appreicated.
On another note, if I do get the larger one, would you be willing to trade me for your small one so that we both have a group of all being roughly the same size?
As far as trading I guess I'd be willing to trade. I'm hesitant only because my little guy has made so much progress and is so bold while these two new ones are still so shy it's really frustrating. There are things to consider though that may make trading with me not so attractive right now. I just had major back surgery and can't even be in cars for short trips never mind a long trip to say meet up. So that means all the inconvenience would be on you unfortunately. If after considering that you still feel like trading feel free to hit me via pm.
