Addiction relief...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I know what you mean...I try not to spend money when I got to a lfs. I like going to check out what they have, but that can be a bad thing, lol! I sometimes spend an hour at a lfs and debate if I'm going to buy a fish or not and a lot of the times now a days, I walk out with nothing, but I feel like a dork for spending all that time in there and not getting anything.

I did the exact same thing today, sat there looking at the tanks, saw a baby delhizi at about 3 inches...I wanted it, but my old quarantine/growout 12 gallon is now home to a crayfish, so it would have to go straight in with the big boys...and the lfs had him priced pretty steep, and that would be an expensive meal...I walked out after spending 30-45 minutes in there with nothing and being asked by 3 different workers if I need help, felt dumb haha.

You guys are so lucky u have so many on offer ... Finding one around here is like looking for Santa :0

I've heard! It's rough for a bichir keeper to live in Australia. How's the salt keeper scene out there? I wonder if they have a hard time getting fish too since you're surrounded by a protected reef lol

Nice pick ups. Been looking for these aswell lol. What is your SOURCE LOL!!!!

hahaI always share :) I got them from Azusa Pets, guys name is Paul. He just got them in Monday so he should have some when you visit.

Don't take my runt one lol

Don't encourage me man. I felt like an addict going to the LFS when I knew I shouldn't, especially since that's where I picked up my dels and ornates. I had a feeling he would have something new.

I was almost disappointed that I was right because that meant I was about to spend money lol
Haha I still remembered the good old days when we were single and fish shopping on the weekend. You used to blame at the end of the day for making you blow your fish budget. LoL Now I just do what Benjamin does at the store. I eyeball the fish for half an hour then walking out not buying anything. I feel dumb and bad sometimes but my excuse is that it's a bad economy.

lol I think we all make each other buy. Mark was about to leave the hobby yet now he has GATF, orino, dats, etc... etc...

Sometimes I have the will power to walk away, but other times, you know that if you don't buy it, someone else will, I don't like to see missed opportunity to have a nice fish. I learned my lesson when I sold my platinum sens.

You'll have to watch where you move in the States. If it's in the South there are a LOT of fish you can't own down there as well. Canada has very few bans, unless you come to Ontario. I can't keep my African Snakehead. :(
