So I decided to use my money I won at poker last night to buy myself another bichir (it's great showing up at a poker game with ZERO money, having a trusting friend let you borrow a couple bucks, and leaving with enough to buy myself some goodies 
).
I hung up with the pet store I've been getting my bichirs from. They listed off what they could get me which were as follows:
Senegalus
Polypterus palma (sic)
and Albino Senegalus
Seeing that I already have three Sens, and don't find the albinos particularly interesting, I opted for the "palma." I asked if it was palmas polli, palmas palmas, or palmas buettikoferi, and was told the list said "polypterus palma."
So being curious (last time my "Delhezi" turned out to be a Lapradei), I told him to order it for me. Apparently it's 6-8" long, which is great because that's basically what my Sens are up to now (6-7"). It will be in next Wed-Thurs.
Anyone want to take a guess as to what it will be?
