If your store is ordering from Segrest (which from the name given and what you got it sounds like they are) they have had some small Endlis on there list for a while now (by small I mean small around 2") so you might try getting them to order you one of those :)

I'm sure it's a bit different in Australia... I would have payed the same either way here. I'm not upset in the least that she has a bit of a scuffed up lip/nose... That will heal.

Also, I knew I was taking a chance ordering a "polypterus palma" from the same place, so I was considering a few different scenarios... The Sen just took me by surprise, it didn't disappoint me. The only reason I didn't order more sens to begin with is because I just wanted to try to get a bit of variety in the tank... But, you can't lose getting a fish you already know you love. ;)


She already chowed down some strips of tilapia fillet last night, quite a bit actually.... I knew she hadn't eaten in a while. :D

Thanks for the heads up...


I am not sure however if that's who they are using... The only polypterus species I could order through them were Albino Sens, Sens, and P. "Palma" (large sens). Segrest appears to not have any polypterus species right now (SegrestFarms.com).


Am I looking in the wrong place?
