Adding braces to an old tank without any

There is no broken brace or anything that's how it was made. The tank is completely functional and like i said when completely filled it doesn't bow at all I put a level it all the sides and they are dead centered every time. I was thinking of doing it more for overkill upgrade since this tank will be going to a family members house and last thing I want is the tank to fail.

then being as you have posted. see no reason why it would not last or need more bracing than it has always had. glass does have viscosity. (meaning it flows) but 20 years is not enough to compromise its integrity. tempered or crystal glass does not.

That is an urban myth. Glass is a solid.

if it was built without the brace I am sure it will be ok ,,, but I understand the hesitation
