Adding color

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i have never noticed a color change. But I use it for the benefits in breeding. A fishes natural waters are no where near clear. So they breed more readily in stained waters.

Also i use the tannic acids when acclimating new fish. Tannic acids are said to be a natural medicine that fights off fin and tail rot, ick, fungus problems, bacterial infections, etc.

And since all of my fish are wild caught species they acclimate alot better in stained water.

I keep my show tanks nice and clear. But all my breeder tanks and my hospital tanks are stained water only.

My water is clear I just want it colored. Clear water is easy. don't over feed, keep it clean, you don't wanna swim in your waste, keep it out of the sun.
