adding fish

i have a 55 gallon corner tank with a ac 110 for filtration wanting 2 stock my tank with semi aggressive fish

I'm not sure what you consider "semi-aggressive", but I would go then with something like H. nicaraguense or some other semi aggressive CA cichlids

get an oscar, the are mild temper but can deffend themselves and really cool to watch whent they eat. plus oscars are beautiful and calm moving fish.

I like the CA idea. A while ago, I had a 75 setup with a single big (relatively speaking) Nic. and then two pairs of Thorichthys (aureum and maculipinnis) with a few other fish thrown in and I really liked that mix. Active, but not too agressive
