Well I just recently got 3 new 10 or so inch females and was wondering if it would be alright to put them into the main tank with 1 large 16 plus male and 2 other 14 or so inch females.
tank size is 480 gallon 8ft x 4ft x 2ft.
I've gotten them for about 2 weeks now and 2 of them are eating well, the 3rd one i will have to put her in a 75 gallon since i haven't seen her eat yet in front of me yet.
The main question is will it be alright to add smaller rays in with larger rays.

thanks!

Any ray once over 8" is normally ok to add to larger rays so long as the 8" plus ray is eating.
Any smaller than 8" they struggle to contend for food with the larger rays.
But as F.O states, keep an eye out on the larger ones, especially the male.
Having said that I have added 8" rays to tanks many times with zero issues and these tanks all had much larger rays in them. You just need to keep an eye on tings for the first week or so.
