I used to have over 20 adult cichlids in this aquarium for about 4 years. It all worked. Although I couldn't add any fish because it was killed right away, the fish didn't have any disputes. Unfortunately, after some mystery, I got a disease in the aquarium and I lost all the fish during the week.
so, that worked out well? Your mind is made up , your adding the 3 new pairs to your existing tanks. I wouldn’t even mess with moving around the decorations. You can if you want to but it makes such a negligible difference. The fish know it’s the rock they used to spawn in even if you move it to other end of the tank etc.
It seems like there’s an aesthetic you are going for regardless of if it’s good for the fish or not and regardless of where her or not the fish belong together or have similar care requirements. - so in that case I’d just resign myself to bloodbath and hope the pairs you like the best come out on top. For what it’s worth the new pairs will get the worst of it so your old favorites should be more or less ok other than once the balance is upset they’ll likely start fighting amongst each other as well.
enjoy your tanks!
