Thanks Bandit, it took me a long time to find the 250. If you have a local club, join it. Members buy, sell, trade amongst themselves often. The only reason the seller of mine listed it on craigslist was he was in a hurry to get rid of it, and of course the CL price was higher than the club price. All the clubs in my area are reef clubs, so I never joined one. Good luck with the search.Im after the 300DD.
Congrats.
your Dovii died?? How?Maybe an umbee, mota pair, or dovii growout(lost mine 2 weeks ago yesterday).
I checked on him at 6 am before going to work and everything was fine, when I got home at 8 pm he was floating in the tank. The tendon, cartilage, or whatever connecting his head to the lower part of his body was torn. I think he got behind the fx6 intake in the dark, panicked and basically broke his neck. The intake was only about 4" from the side of the tank so he would not have been able to swim forward and this would have been right about where the tear is. A few people have told me this is not likely, because he would have dislodged the intake before that kind of trauma could occur. After the fact I checked it out and had to pull very hard on the intake to break it free, so this is still my theory. The other possibility is that he rammed the glass and did it. Either way, it royally sucks and was the worst single event I have had in the hobby.your Dovii died?? How?
