yea i saw, but yours would be way to big for hypancistrus anyway lol. i duno, although they do the purpose and all, id like to have it natural looking. i dont like the square look to the slate pre made ones. i did think of drilling holes in bogwood, but dont think it would be as effective for my fish.

I say just go to the store, see if they have any scraps that are broken or miscut, and then just put them together in a way that looks good to you. That way its a little more random.
I wasn't really talking getting the slate that way to get it cheap, but more so for the random shapes.
