i don't know how many times i found little guys living in the filter.. or a missing big guy... so thankful i do it pretty often.. all those lives that are saved.. africans babies especially were getting trapped in the filter

I change 75% of the water weekly on my tanks that are smaller than 100 gallons. The larger tanks get changed every two weeks. The fulval 404/405s get changed every 2-3 months depending on tank bioload and decor. The two fx5s at home get changed every 6-8 months. The two fx5s at work get ignored more than changed. Its been at least 14 months now.

Umm... i change my rena pretty much randomly. It varies every time. But usually every month, somtimes twice that, sometimes half that. But then again i dont overfilter. Just gotta xp3 and ac110 on a 100g. The ac110 doesnt really work. It does about 3-4gph because its broken-ish. Thats not a typo btw. But it doesnt get dirty or cleaned cuz its 'just there', you know...
