Wait, the first picture is the flowerhorn you gave to your girlfriend then?

My bad, thought that was one you picked up....anyway, the other fish in the picture below the male does look pretty beat up right now, but she does have good coloring and may end up nice once she relaxes.
 
Petsmart doesn't have adoptions though, thats the thing. I was double surprised that they took the fish, and that they are flowerhorns.


the first one is my male that was in my 55 by himself with a divider and my female on the other side, but I gave the female to my GF for her 75 with soem other cichlids. I kept that male in my 29, by himself now, which is a little bigger than the space he had in the half of the 55.
 
How about cleaning the glass, would make for better pics.
 
i cleaned the glass that morning, but I hadn't expected to get the adopted fish so I did a water change, soaked me and my bed because the hose came out of my bucket, and then put the little guy in there as fast as I could.

I can't clean the algae because I have doctor's orders not to put my hands in water, I only broke it to get the nitrates down in my 29 because I had a convict in there for a while in "prison".


My fingers crack and bleed almost everyday and I don't know why.
