Congrats on your new family member! I agree with justonemoretank, it looks like she might have some pit in there. I know a lot of shelters will list some other kind of dog because labeling something a pit scares a lot of people away. Its fun to speculate though. My dad likes to say my mystery rescue terrier is a Gunky (goat and money mix) However I think he might just be a schnoodle.
Well done indeed. As someone who works with a public shelter on a daily basis, every life adopted saves not only that life but the life of the animal who can now move into that empty kennel. It sounds trite, but it is quite true.
