I would think the damage is already done and uncorrectable but it's great that you saved him. Not cool they still wanted 20.00 for him in that condition. But that's just me.
 
Well so far so good. He does not seem stressed at all, but still has yet to eat. I dought that he would straighten any, but it is nice to see him swim. So far all tank mates getting along ok. Here's a few more pics
