Thanks Liz, you always have such nice things to say. I wasn't planning on anymore catfish for the big tank, but I couldn't pass this up, I don't think there are very many people in this area that could have provided the kind of home for them that I am going to, and I hope they grow up to be big and healthy.

Thank you Brent.. i think those sharks have alot to be thankful for because of you! Just keep an eye on his eye..if it starts clouding really white.. then you may have to add or change medicine.. but sometimes before the eye starts looking better it does get a little cloudy, just post a pic of the closeup of eye in the disease section and go from there..there will be more expert opinions.. otherwise i think they will be healthy all the way around in no time.. i had an african cichlid that injured his eye and it clouded over..i left him and just did more water changes.. keep your water changes up ..and it will probably heal faster.. lots of luck!

one more question, the melafix says to not change the water for 7 days, which is unheard of in any of my tanks, I do wc's every 3-4 days, is it still okay to change the water and just re-dose for what I took out, or dose for that day after the wc, or do I really have to wait to change the water for 7 days?

i would still do water changes and start over with medicine.. thats what i do..because it is most important of all to get rid of bad water.. they cannot get better no matter how much med if the water is dirty... :D
