I think your asking a question that would equal something like "Do you have pics of an alien in your basement ?" or "post pics of going out for a drink with Bigfoot and a chupacabra"

I had one around 4 foot, but not anymore,(Took care of a large one for a bit) and I only know of one other person with one.. he has had it for years and it is around 5 foot. He will not likely show up on this site....

Well, considering this is MONSTER fish keepers, I thought some more people would have a huge, 10 foot fish. I guess not.

mine is only 2.3 ft..ard 27"..i posted the pict on the other thread "SHOW YOUR GAR"..i dont think with the size of space in houses it can grow up to 6 or 7..may be it will but takes quite a while..

Umm no.. actually some people on this site will argue that you should not be able to own Alligator gar and they should be banned from hobbyist possession under any circumstance.

This was established pretty well in an earlier thread...

That's dumb. They should be allowed as pets, as long as they are kept properly.

The above person is referring to me, Nabbig. I have gators ( as you've seen ) and I feel it is a mistake to have them, because in no circumstance will one be able to house them properly in the long run.

Ummm.... actually the above should read...

"I feel it is a mistake to have them, because in no circumstance will I be able to house them properly in the long run."

It's your mistake for not knowing about these fish..so do not use the plural 'one' in the above sentence...Some can easily house and properly care for these fish should they wish and really do not need anyone preaching to them about how they 'can not' or that they 'should not' keep something they very well can.

I thought I was in your "Ignore list" ?!??!?!

You keep creeping back......

Sorry dude....that line really needed an appropriate edit...
You is not WE..so do not equate your inability to keep a fish species with everyones ability or resources to do so...

Have a wonderful day :D

The only fish WE are aware of YOU having ( and capability for same is not even being discussed in here, but highly doubtfull considering a recent "my fish is more tough than yours ridiculous thread ) is candiru ad other parasitic catfish, who merrilly evolve around a tank to the sound of very poorly chosen music...

So ONE should sometimes try to exercise a certain degree of humility, much more so when ONE is a highly educated individual, a Lion, in ONE's one Words, and ONE should, therefore, have a sense of ridicule...
