It won't let me edit. But I meant to say why aren't you showing these off more
You know it's just overeating and not impaction, right?
It does.DMD123 - did you use peace river sand by CaribSea at some point?
I don't agree, but seems like I'm alone on this one. The way the back of the fish looks malnourished and razor thin looks like more than just an optical illusion from how bloated the front half of the fish is.
I did use just peace river before and when Francisco told me the bichirs were crapping it out I realized how much they were eating and the risk, so I switched to sand.
Lol, yep just overeatingYou know it's just overeating and not impaction, right?

To much eating almost ate its whole body, lol.Lol, yep just overeating
I currently use peace river mixed with African cichlid rift lake sand (black and white mix)
The teug looked normal when I starved it for a few weeks. It had no issue with impacted sand. Just a serious eating problem. It would eat till it was bulging and next meal barf up the food and eat more. Captive born polys can have a tendency to not have the proper 'shut off' to tell them they are full. Ive seen many sen and delhezi that had very similar issues.I don't agree, but seems like I'm alone on this one. It was getting picked on by my old del so he had to move some polys around. Im not sure how its doing currently but it looked good when I rehomed it.To much eating almost ate its whole body, lol.
How is the teug in your friends tank anyway?
