I recently had my oscar go blind as a result from fighting. I posted a thread a few weeks ago to see what everyone thought of the damage and they said he would be fine.
here is the link to show what he looks like http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=225161

I was just wondering what your advice is on how to feed a totally blind fish. He normally ate Hikari Cichlid gold and the occasional feeders.

Thanks

He would probably be better housed by him self for less competition w/ food. My oscar could sense food hit the water, so maybe drop food infront of him? I hand feed my oscar frozen brine and bloodworms.

Yeah, if he's a typical oscar he will know what's up when you open the top. Probably best to keep him alone or maybe with a bottom feeder, scavenger type cat like raphaels or syno eupterus, something that will get the food he'll miss.

how do u no hes totaly blind? my fish got a beating and hasnt eatin since its been maybe 2-3 weeks since i no hes not blind tho cause he attacks the pleco

yea after a while hell smell it but id put a bottomfeeder with him to clean up the extra food so it doesnt mess with your water quality
