ok so im gonna be getting baby wild caught orinos again at 1inch .
and always told myself damn should of had a record of thier growth and of thier feeding habbits from one food to pellit stixs to massivore pellits.
also a record of who will be alpha male and such.

im excited...

advice guys should i snap pixs every 3days or every 6days? while feeding or swimming
? and what time of day?
;) this will go on for the course of a yr.

lol feels like planet earth lol national geo ftw!!!

I would personally say if possible i would do it once a day, but i guess every 3 is more reasonable in comparison...

Also, i think i would try and get the fish at the same spot every time, rather than worrying about free swimming etc... although maybe if your fish was free swimming might make for a clear picture, but if it was settled on the bottom, then would make life easier for you?

Eitherway, good luck with this project, and will be interesting to see the end result...

The Peacock Bass forum would be better for this thread and you'd get better responses from people who know.

I have many grow out Cichla's right now and also document their development. I personally think every day or even every week is not required for photos. I take photo's every two to three weeks and try them on various different food types. Currenty I have the below Cichlas growing out.

1.) (2) Cichla Kelberi Bahia
2.) (1) Cichla Ocellaris "Brokopondo"
3.) (6) Cichla Orinocensis
4.) (3) Cichla Monoculus
5.) (2) Cichla Azul Piqutti
6.) (3) Cichla Xingu – AKA (Cichla Melaniae AKA Xingu III
7.) (2) Cichla Temensis
8.) (3) Cichla Ocellaris
9.) (3) Cichla intermedia
